7 years celebrate/celibate

Today, Sunday Jan 7th, 2018 marks 7 years of celibacy. But that’s only one way to see it.

My youngest sister asked me why I came back to church.  It doesn’t make any since. I am Gay. Why would I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, an organization that defines marriage as ordained of God only between a male and female.

My answer to her and everyone is because I know it is the only source that has the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as he instituted while lived on the earth. And as a perfectionist when I find something to be perfectly true and right, I have to align with it.

Simply, I know Jesus is the Christ and he is the Son of God, the creator of this world and the promised Messiah. I feel his love most when I am doing what he asks me to do, which is to come back to His restored church and follow his commandments.  “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it”. Matthew 7:14. Well I found it. And Jesus has made me more alive than ever before. I love the Lord with all my heart and desire only to do what is right.  That’s why I am back and why I stay.  I love the Savior Jesus Christ.  He lives, and has given me life. He gives me purpose, and my only desire is to do his will. May my life be a reflection of Gods love.  Be forgiving with me as I am incredibly imperfect. But I am trying to be like Jesus. “nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done.” Luke 22:42

So I ask you now. What is it in your life that brings you joy, assurance and purpose?

Playing saxophone. I dedicate my life to the saxophone. I no longer desire sex. I no longer need it. I’ve become free because of the saxophone. Back to playing more Arpeggio exercises
