Integrated life

I had the best conversation with a delivery customer last night. Every time I deliver food to this blessed saint, I always depart with gratitude for my life and the life that we are all collectively experiencing. We stared talking about the stories of our life and how it’s important to share our stories to help others through this life school. We are here to learn, share, teach and grow. So my friends, welcome to my integrated life. I am no longer just Saxophone Tina. I am introducing you to another aspect of my life that has had more impact on my personal growth than any other.

I am gay. I am a mormon.

How do those all fit together you might wonder. Here is a documentary that tells my story. Latter-gay Saints by journalist and film maker Brittany Knotts features myself and Todd Richardson, another gay mormon. Its 20 minutes long. If you like it, share it anyway you like.

I am a Saxophonist and Composer and Educator:

My next show is Thursday July 16th, 8:30pm
Where: The Classon Social Club

Tina Richerson: Baritone and Tenor Saxophone
Amanda Monoco: Guitar
Jennifer Vincent: Bass
Rosa Avila: Drums

I have been working on new charts with a goal to record a new album this fall. I plan to incorporate all of my life into it, as it is silly to keep things separated. So it is true with my live performances. Come ready to eat food, and be filled of the spirit.

I am a Pizza & Pasta Delivery Specialist

Hungry? Amorina Cucina Rustica on Vanderbuilt and Prospect Place in Prospect Heights has some incredible food!! Get a delivery and maybe we can see each other!

Hope you see you Thursday! Thanks for supporting Truth and Love.
